The dream I want to delve on is not the series of events pictured in ones mind while asleep but the cherished desire that one has in relation to the future.
It had been a long, tough journey through the years from my childhood and I would have had made a great mistake if I don't concede that God helped me through. I believe that He surely watches over me because from my personal experience I have encountered frantic situations that I can not even begin to explain how I survived through them all.
We are now left with less than five days away from a new year and you would expect; it is time for deep introspection and while for others it is all about having fun, regardless of which side you are on, we all have to bid a collective goodbye to the present year.
The end of year reveals the lessons and adventures of a life lived in a space of twelve months. I won't mention the weeks and days because that might just induce a state of chronic depression for the encapsulated life in the mundane. Recounting the moments and events over the space of a year seems tedious as most of those moments entailed some kind of intoxication and chemically induced emotional reliance.
Do you commit to new year resolutions? I mean, we all try to commit to them but we do not actualize the things we set out to do. We start looking back on the previous year and hope that we can be proud of the past years ' endeavours. At times we tend to be hard on ourselves and neglect to look at things objectively.
As for me, resolutions means nothing if there is no work invested in trying to achieve them. They can also tend to be such impermanent sentiments that we utilize on a subconscious level to invalidate our fears of the unknown as a year begins. The truth is; resolutions usually takes time to materialize, hence we should not lose motivation after a year end.
The idea of resolutions is fascinating because for some, it's as if the clock strikes twelve and it's the first of a new year, problems dissipate and it's a new chapter in their lives. Unfortunately for us, this isn't true. All the mess caused the previous year get carried onto the new year.
The new year resolution that you set and did not achieve are not a failure. The start of a new year also means we make resolutions to maintain or achieve, so your resolutions are yours and yours alone, don't feel any external pressure about when you aimed to; lose or gain weight, if it is still relevant for you this year go for it.
As the new year dawns on us, lost and submerged, we are faced with the daunting task of reconfiguring our lives, better yet our souls. This process seems to take on a drab tone as is expected to improve and continue to keep faith.
As the year begins you must look towards setting a new era in your financial sphere and it all begins at the beginning. If you begin well you will end well. Even if you don't finish first, it is about improving who you are and what you can achieve and how to get there. Most destinations seems hard to get to but once you set off on that particular interest every step you take after is closer to getting there.
Take these words of ridicule and use them as fuel for your engine. Sometimes what seems impossible is what many could not find a solution to, but you should hold the key to the door to unravel your gems. This is a year where you should aim to do things differently and do them because you can, not for anyone but for you.
Every person is obliged by nature to have a dream, and dreaming is not a sin. In order for is to have a sense of meaning and purpose they have to dream. A dream makes one to shift focus from the trivialities onto things that matter most in their lives so that the dream could become a reality.
