The skies rumble in pain, the moon shines in vain; these tears do not begin to show how torn my heart is; for even my broad shoulders slouch in fear.
Once upon your journey, you met an amazing individual who you felt deep connections with very quickly, sometimes that you were very skeptical at first, but it was always best to trust that process.
You danced, sang, cried, laughed, and supported each other through the journey of life.
Well, such is life; it really is a mystery, and it's only until you learn to embrace and master that then you shall live. If good times roll, so will times of trouble.
It’s a spiral. We circle around to similar lessons, feelings, and challenges but we experience them at different levels of awareness.
We keep hitting the same challenges until we learn the lessons we need to in order to let go and grow.
Life asked Death, “Why Do People Love Me But Hate You?” and Death responded, “Because You Are a Beautiful Lie and I’m a Painful Truth.”
Do you ever sit down and think deeply about what life really is? Do you sometimes find yourself questioning a lot of things about life and how it is supposed to be?
Sometimes you even find yourself in tears when you start noticing how life is turning out for others, and yet yours seems to be either stagnant and not as per how you envision it.
It is at times like these that I think a magazine would better accommodate my thoughts with perspectives coming from different sources. But less worry we will get there.
I would like to write about the challenges facing our societies and what works for some and does not for others.
Be it at home, school, or play; each time you wake up count your blessings and aim to do your best today.
Someone once said, “live as if there was no failure, work like there is no tomorrow; before you could know it, you will be the best there could ever be.”
Destiny is yours, reach out and grab it with both hands. Turn your dust into gold and you will be ever happy.
The dream I want to delve into is not the series of events pictured in one's mind while asleep, but the cherished desire that one has in relation to the future.
Every young person is obliged by nature to have a dream, and dreaming is not a sin. In order for young people to have a sense of meaning and purpose, they have to dream.
A dream makes one shift focus from the trivialities onto things that matter most in their lives so that the dream could become a reality.
Being patient is tough, but helps us endure the temporary pain and helps us learn from the experiences. Learning, of course, is a very personal thing and many people take the same situation and come up with different lessons to learn from.
That is part of being a human, and why some of us repeat the same experiences a few times before coming up with a better understanding of the lesson.
Without Patience and Endurance, We Would Find it Quite Difficult to Get to the Place on the Far Side of the Pain to Get the Perspective Necessary to Learn the Lesson.
This, itself is a lesson, which could only be learned by getting through the pain and unhappiness of the experience of life. Often it is the difference between doing well and just getting by.
Make your books your best friend and allow them to influence you on how to dream. Having a role model does not demote one to the status of being a copycat, but it makes one learn from them since they are performing well in their fields.
We have to dream positively and hope for our dream to be achieved, no matter the circumstances.
Optimism is One of the Most Important Human Traits Because it Allows us to Evolve our Ideas to Improve our Situations and to Hope for a Better Tomorrow. As Much as we Dream Big, Optimism is a Prerequisite.
The difference is the ability to endure the pain. Many things in life are painful and require one to be patient, to have the ability to endure, and to be strong.
Some years ago, a friend of mine mentioned that he married too early, and then divorced. It was a terrible thing to endure, but in it, he learned much about himself and he would never have any other way.
In this manner, it became very useful to him. With the clarity of what he did wrong and in what areas he needed to grow, he was able to become a much better person.
But to get to that point, he had to endure a lot of pain.
With patience, you keep nurturing the plants until it is time for harvest. With us, our harvest is when we take a step forward (to our treasure).
For students it might be when they leave the current grade, preparing for the next in sequence. For parents, it might be when they move out, or when they start a family, but each stage of their life is a harvest of some sort, and could take years of patience to realize.
Patience is a virtue, but like any other virtue, I could have little, for you could have too much of it. Too little is rash, too much is sloth.
Off-topic but still useful, understand that things won’t go according to as per planned, so have patience.
Understand that no one is perfect and use that imperfection to help build your patience. Don’t fret, instead, wait patiently.
Like any other behavior, patience is a skill of repetition. It won’t always be easy, but it should be fun. That is where it begins.
